Is There a Correct Size Condom for Everyone?

Have you ever stood in the condom aisle at the store, and wondered what the correct size condom for you was? It is very common to wonder if all condoms are one size fits all. And the answer is, no. Condoms are not necessarily one size fits all. The correct size condom for you will obviously depend on the size of your penis, both in length and in circumference.

It is important to have the correct size condom for you because if you have a condom that is to large, it may slip off during intercourse, and become stuck in your partner. Also, if a condom is too large, and slips off, there is a much higher risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease or an unwanted pregnancy. Also, if a condom is a little baggy, it will not be very comfortable during sex, and may become a nuisance. Likewise, if you have a penis that is larger than average, you will need a condom that is created for a bigger size. Average size condoms will likely be too tight causing discomfort, and increasing the chance that it will break during intercourse.

The majority of condoms sold today are created with the average penis size in mind. The average length of a penis is 5-7 inches, so the correct size condom for most men will be easy to find. However, for larger condoms look for packaging that says Mega, and Super. If you are looking for a snugger size, they will not be sold as smaller, look for packaging that mentions a snugger fit, or a tighter sensation. No matter what your penis size, there is a condom that will fit you perfectly.
