If you have never used a spermicidal condom before you should know that it is just a condom that uses a lubricant that has spermicidal properties which means that it helps to kill sperm or diseases. A common spermicide is nonoxynol-9, and this is the spermicide that is most often used in condoms. When you use condoms that have spermicide it is important to remember that you should not use them for oral sex. The spermicide should not be ingested by the mouth, and it will not taste very good either. So you may want to use a condom without spermicide on it for oral sex.
Some people find that if they have sex too often with spermicidal condoms that they have a reaction, so you might want to be careful and monitor your reaction to these condoms. However, if you want to be sure that you are protected from unplanned pregnancy and some sexually transmitted diseases than try a condoms with nonoxynol-9 or try other spermicidal condoms, and the piece of mind that you get will be worth it.
